Radiation Safety

The University of Florida follows all rules and regulations specified by the Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Radiation Control. The UF Office of Radiation Safety (ORS), under the direction of the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and recommendation of the Executive Radiation Safety Committee, works to ensure all applicable rules are followed by providing guidance and oversight for the use of radioactive material and radiation producing devices.
