Flight Permits are obtained by submitting a “Flight Request”. Once a Flight Request is received and reviewed, the Pilot in Command will receive a Flight Permit via email address listed in the request. Please submit 1 flight request per location and drone. Multiple locations or multiple drones both require additional submissions.

There are Flight Requests that may receive blanket permits (covering several flights) depending on the specific request details.

For UF Affiliated Flight Requests, please ensure you have filled out the Pilot Registration* and have registered at least 1 (one) aircraft. (*UF EHS is working on re-registering crendentials from previous submissions. If you attempt to fill out a flight request and cannot select a pilot or aircraft, please re-register with the updated forms @ UF EHS Drone and Aircraft Registration )
