Free Chemicals are waiting to be claimed by UF labs.
Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) provides the UF ChemSwap program as a service for UF faculty and lab personnel. The UF ChemSwap site provides a list of free research chemicals currently available to laboratories on the UF main campus and at PK Yonge Developmental Research School. The free chemicals are delivered with a SDS by an EH&S staff member directly to your lab. UF labs can save money and reduce waste by redistributing unwanted chemicals.
All the chemicals are in the original, unopened container.
If you have an unwanted chemical to donate to the program, click here to submit a chemical waste pickup request to EH&S and indicate in the comments section that the chemicals are for donation to the ChemSwap program.
Click here to see a list of the chemicals currently available. To request a chemical, call the Waste Management Facility at 392-8400 with the chemical name, quantity you need, and the delivery location.
