Law enforcement with the University Police Department requires a preplacement physical examination. It also requires participation in the Bloodborne Pathogen Program and the Respiratory Protection Policy.
Health Assessment Requirements
The preplacement health assessment for UF law enforcement personnel includes a comprehensive physical examination along with specific laboratory work and diagnostic tests. The health assessment typically requires two visits to the Clinic.

- Identifies this job duty in myUFL position information, or completes the online INOP Form based on supervisor input.
- Completes the Review for Respirator Use Form.
- Submits the Payment Authorization Form.
- Calls the UF OCCMED Clinic at (352) 294-5700 to schedule the initial physical exam appointment.
