Will the individual be climbing?

Climbing is part of a group of general physical labor job duties that requires a preplacement physical examination[cite: 3]. Climbing includes not only leg motion but also hand-over-hand motion such as climbing ladders or trees (excluding standard stairs)[cite: 3]. Health Assessment Requirements

The preplacement health assessment for those who will be climbing includes a physical examination along with a review of immunization status for tetanus[cite: 3].

  1. The department:
    • Identifies this job duty in myUFL position information, or completes the online INOP Form based on supervisor input[cite: 3].
    • Submits the Payment Authorization Form[cite: 3].
    • Calls the UF OCCMED Clinic at (352) 294-5700 to schedule a physical exam appointment.
