Did you know that October is recognized as Biosafety & Biosecurity Month, Fire Prevention Month, and National Chemistry Week? To highlight these important safety initiatives, UF EH&S celebrates October Safety Month each year with a variety of educational events, hands-on activities, and outreach opportunities across campus. Throughout the month, the UF community is invited to participate in programs design to promote a strong culture of safety, increase awareness of potential hazards, and reinforce best practices that help keep our campus safe.
