October Safety Month

Introduction

Did you know that October is recognized as Biosafety & Biosecurity Month, Fire Prevention Month, and National Chemistry Week? To highlight these important safety initiatives, UF EH&S celebrates October Safety Month each year with a variety of educational events, hands-on activities, and outreach opportunities across campus. Throughout the month, the UF community is invited to participate in programs designed to promote a strong culture of safety, increase awareness of potential hazards, and reinforce best practices that help keep our campus safe.

Complete the Lab Safety bingo card (instructions below) and submit it through our online submission form. We will be accepting entries from October 1st through November 6th.

How to Participate?

Download the bingo card below.
Complete at least 4 activities for a chance to win one of the prize packages. EH&S tabling events are listed in the calendar on this page.
Submit the form and supporting documentation (photos) through our online submission form (starting October 1st). The form will be available on this website starting October 1st.
Complete the Bonus Quiz on the bingo card for an extra entry into the prize raffle.
