Chemical Safety Information and Safety Data Sheets

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) provide a ready reference for the physical and hazardous properties of laboratory and industrial chemicals. A good knowledge of chemical properties may increase the likelihood of success for an experiment and will allow work with industrial chemicals to be conducted in a safer manner. Review the SDS before starting work with a new chemical.

Lab Chemical Information and Safety Data Sheets

The following links provide access to SDS’s for primarily laboratory chemicals provided directly from supplier sites. The most up to date SDS information should be available from these supplier sites. Review the SDS before starting work with a new chemical. Some sites have specific access procedures for viewing SDS and may require using their on-line catalog to select the SDS for a particular chemical.
