Hurricane Preparedness
| UF’s campus is located only 70 miles from either coast and can be impacted by hurricanes. Hurricane season lasts from June 1st through November 30th, with the busiest part of the season normally occurring from August to October. The University has an experienced framework to respond to storms; however, an extremely important part of the process is for you as an individual to also be ready and prepared. |
