Training Sessions

The following training sessions are available to access online:

·         Building Emergency Coordinator Introduction

·         Bomb Threat Guidelines

·         Local Weather Hazards

To access the training, follow these steps:

1.       Go to http://ufbiosafety.classroom24-7.com

2.       Click on “New User Registration”

3.       Enter your UFID #, e-mail address, first name and last name.  You will need to create a user name and password.  You do NOT need to enter the other information listed such as address and phone number.

4.       Once you have access, select “BEC-Bomb Threat Guidelines,” “BEC-Building Emergency Coordinator Introduction” or “BEC-Local Weather Hazard Training,” under the Training section on the webpage.  (Please note the other classes listed are for the Biological Safety program and not applicable to BECs.)

5.       Select “Launch Presentation” and the session will begin in a new window.

6.       When you complete the video, select “Completion Agreement” on the left-hand side of the original webpage and indicate you viewed the presentation.

7.       If you would like a copy of the powerpoint presentations, they are available for download under the “Documents” section of the website.

If you have previously taken courses on this system through the Biological Safety program, your existing sign-on and password can be used.  Again, the other classes listed are not for the BEC program.  We are sharing the on-line service with the Bio Safety Office so both classes appear on the same site.

If you have problems with the system, technical support is available from the vendor by phone (877-252-7711) and email (support@classroom24-7.com).
