Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) members review projects; non-exempt projects are sent to the full IBC for review, comment, and approval. The IBC Committee meets each third Wednesday of the month to evaluate projects. Completed submissions must be received and distributed to members at least a week in advance of the scheduled meeting.

The monthly project submittal deadline is therefore the first Friday of each month for projects requiring full IBC review.
